LASO's Vietnamese Coffee Fundraiser

LASO hosted a Vietnamese iced coffee fundraiser on our campus from February 24-25, 2025. This was an extremely successful event that allowed us to raise around $200 to donate towards our philanthropy, Cam On. This event also encouraged other students and faculty to try Vietnamese iced coffee for the first time. Many of our supporters loved it and even came back for another cup the next day! Many students appreciated this fundraiser as they expressed their love for Vietnamese iced coffee and its stronger and richer taste. We posted an enticing graphic on our social media to advertise for this fundraiser!
What efforts were used to motivate and involve the organization's members?
Members were encouraged to sign up for tabling shifts to take turns selling the coffee. We also sold our LASO t-shirts at the fundraiser to spread the word and organization spirit!
How did the organization overcome any challenges that arose while planning and implementing the event?
We made sure to supply extra ingredients and tools (like condensed milk and a can opener) on the second day of fundraising. We did not consider that some supported would like extra condensed milk than others.
