VSA Bowling Night

The event was hosted on October 22, 2025. It had an attendance of around 100 people, and its purpose was for our general members to have fun and encourage people to pay their membership fees. The event was free for paid members, and we used VSA-LSU funds to support it. People were more inclined to pay their membership fees because they received free bowling. The event consisted of free bowling and took place at All Star Lanes.
What efforts were used to motivate and involve the organization's members?
We posted the event on our Instagram and advertised it as free bowling for members. We also hosted it right after our general body meeting, so everyone who attended the meeting went bowling. We advertised it a lot there as well, which helped
Did the organization overcome any challenges that arose while planning and implementing the event? How?
The event was hosted right after our second general body meeting and during one of our intramurals, so our executive board was really split up. Bowling night is an extensive event for our executive board, as we have to keep track of who is a paid member and who is not, so having fewer members present made it a bit more difficult during the event. Fortunately, our treasurer and secretary did a great job keeping track of everyone and keeping everything under control.
